Meet Lynsie — The Heart Behind the Lens at Honey Babes Photo
Our Story
Once upon a time (okay, not that long ago), a little girl picked up a camera and saw the world through a lens — full of beauty, emotion, and a whole lot of love. That little girl was me — Lynsie — and I never put the camera down for long after that.
Fast forward a couple of decades, a career in nursing (17 years specializing in pediatric care!), one Caribou Coffee addiction, a house full of pets, and one incredible son later… and you’ll find me here: behind the lens at Honey Babes Photography, living out my dream job.
Originally launched in 2020 as WillowTree Photo LLC, I rebranded to Honey Babes Photography LLC in 2023 — a name that means the world to me. “Honey Babes” was my grandmother’s nickname for me when I was a baby, and it stuck my whole life. Now, it’s the heart and soul of my business — a tribute to the love, warmth, and legacy she gave me, and the same love I hope to pour into every session I capture.
My days are often a whirlwind of editing, toddler giggles, diaper changes (not mine, thankfully), cake smashes, and newborn snuggles. I've been trained by industry leaders in safe newborn posing, because your baby's safety is always my top priority — right after getting the shot that will make Grandma cry happy tears.
You can usually find me in my studio (probably barefoot), camera in hand, coffee in the other, humming a 90s throwback tune, and talking to your baby like they’re a VIP guest at the Oscars. I adore animals (we have a small zoo at home), love the outdoors (yes, I will 100% talk you into a golden hour session in the woods), and have a soft spot for big, crazy, loving families — especially since I’m raising a sweet, adventurous, and amazing little boy with non-verbal autism. He's the light of my life and has taught me more about patience, joy, and unconditional love than anyone ever could.
